ravil inspired me to get myself obsessed with coke facts. i had discontinued consumerishly supporting the company due to the little i got to know a while back, ... and now it's disturbingly more i despise about
tccc. thank you very much! seriously!!!
included in the
criticism on wikipedia (yes, yes, i know, not the reliablest source of sources, still i regard it to be most efficient to spread ze word compared to pasting alien urls) :::
health effects, monopolism, civil-rights violations, discrimination, 'spates of mysterious murders of union-affiliated employees', cooperation with nazi-germany during WWII, generally following the footprints of us-american soldiers into occupied territory, possibilliy of pesticides in the beverages, environmental impact of packaging and degradation due to depletion of natural water supplies.
murder being one of the more severe health effects if you ask me; so, don't ask.
shudder yourselves while doing the little maths i assume tccc management did before deciding to fund doubtful immune system assistance for its (franchise) employees in africa when the company was facing the compensation claims for discriminating its us-american worker bees.
by the stray, i strongly suppose the ccc-lobby is (at least partially) responsible for
stevia being illegalized as a food additive in the usa and europe, claiming it would be a healthrisk ( // japan commercially introduced stevia-sweetened food and beverages in 1971, and has its population now consuming 40% of the global markets stevia [not counting the various native american peoples who use stevia since estimatedly 200 years to sweet their food and to cure diabetes(!)] , while i assume japan to be one of the healthiest countries world-wide) considering this pitching tccc to develop the stevia-based Rebiana to replace the either possibly or officially carcinogenic
artificial sweeteners like
aspartame,
acesulfame x,
cyclamante,
saccharin,
etc.
